First Day: Oh Geez...

i make a promise to get back on the old blog and BAM......life.

so, here it is in a nutshell (why do they say that? if they are trying to reference "small" there are things smaller than a nutshell right?)

anywhoooo

exhibit a:

perhaps the biggest "oh my gosh if they can do it on hgtv then we can do it" moment to date

we have been creating

the landing zone.

oh heck, you mean this doesn't look like hgtv? just give my man a few more days, i promise an after picture. (who needs a closet when you can have a landing zone?)

there are three other reasons i haven't blogged in almost a month:

number 1: aud b.

she has been busy learning cursive, learning to touch her toes to her head while laying on her stomach (thanks coach ally), being the best big sister on the planet and reading her first diary of a whimpy kid book(which she promptly returned before finishing because it was due in two days....a wee bit OCD)

number 2:

the main man

he was getting his haircut the other day and the girl asked him "how do you like having two sisters?" he said "i like it" she said, "don't they pick on you?" he said, "no"

he seriously can't fathom why anyone wouldn't want to be him, his life is a dream.

he can READ!

it has been amazing to watch him decode, sound out and discover the world of print.

he leaves time for getting his yellow belt

and helping his daddy rock out the landing zone

number 3:

prima ballerina turned jr. gymnast

she got up on stage in front of 800 people and danced her heart out (this is the part when i tell you that all of these pictures are from my phone because the STUPID camera card messed up ALL our pictures this last month including video of said dance...sigh...)

she loved being the star and she loves her fairy godmother

she loves gymnastics....other than her leotard eating bum:)

this month was really fun and special and filled with God Sightings

my mom turned 73. she is amazing, smart and the best GoGo in the world

live out loud went to lexington to love on some seniors and my kids played BINGO like they too were 85, focused and serious

speaking of serious...it is officially the beginning of spring clean up around here

all art and craft supplies are organized and accessible(this whole mess began because i couldn't find a sharpened pencil for Harper to do his homework)
