i make lists
it is what i do, scraps of paper, sides of envelopes, i make lists
i made a list on the last day of school, it was things i wanted to happen this summer, a rough outline of "life" at our house for june, july and august
i looked at it this morning and felt good
i have no regrets from this summer, no "i didn't do's", no "i wish i woulda's"
just a whole lot of livin'
i am ready to move on to our new year with a preschooler, a kindergartner and a 2nd grader
no regrets
just gratefulness and memories
