this girl
is changing.
this girl says this to me today:
"mommy, i went to my friend lili's house and we ate underwear and pajamas! oh, i am just joking around."
"mommy, miss nicole says picking boogers is gross."
"mommy, i made these cookies for my friends, but you can just smell them and not eat them okay?"
today when her and jon were playing i spy she said the same thing as he did and then exclaimed, "we tied!" then she the won the next one and said, "i win! i get first place and a trophy!"
before she went to bed i asked her if she wanted a soft hug or a tight hug and she said, "mommy! you can't do tight hugs, you don't have big muscles like uncle eric."
this girl...she asks you for "mixed nuts" but when you get the container back it should read "peanuts and the big huge nuts that no one eats"
this girl doesn't bat an eye when she gets out of the car each morning,
she has a life now and her people await.
this girl is smart, tough, kind, funny, compassionate and suprising.
she is transforming in front of our eyes.
