i can't remember who, but someone once sang
"you put on your winter skin, your winter skin and walk..."
well, it actually started to feel like winter last week
snow, hot chocolate, chili, boots, salt
the best part is that in 3 days it will be february and in my opinion it's straight up
spring planning on the horizon.
but for this week, we will cozy up and wear our winter skin.
aud b is rocking lately
learning cursive, reading chapter books, practicing gymnastics 6 hours a week
she loves her friends, playing dolls with georgia and the iphone app "zoo story" and "pet shop"
can you just smell the snow on her? she loves being outside, never gets cold.
her speech is amazing and if you don't hide from her, she makes you her pawn in
the game of "house dollies"
in true five year old fashion, he is tattling on his sisters in this picture.
this boy is on fire this month
he is READING! sounding out words, using context clues-so cool. he is now in the "green bin" code for "good reader"
yesterday, he promoted to yellow belt in taekwondo. he has been sparring for a month and loves it.
i am such a proud mama when i see him shine like this. he is confident and strong.
friday nights at our house
we live for them.
we love to open up our house and welcome friends
it is such a perfect way to end our week
warmth, laughter, ideas, love, friends
as mrs. a says, the best day of the week-friday!
