easing in.

this week started a new routine, a new school year.

first grade, third grade, preschool 4
we are so proud of them, they love school with a fever.

georgia clicked into her forever school with ease, with a little help from a buddy.
i kept my perspective in check, yes, my baby started school, but i am not sad
i am excited for her, i am proud of her and each day i can't wait to hear her bubbly voice tell me stories of her morning.

this is the view from my window in the evenings, a quick game or pig or a bike ride.  i love how the older the kids get, the more fun they are to hang out with.
it's a big old in your face screaming, "you are blessed"

we even snuck in a pool trip, they acted like they didn't go to the pool once the whole summer.  they had a blast together.  (sofia looks like the chick from grease starting the race)

we ended the week with supper club, these nights warm my soul and fill my heart.

blessings.

before bed tonight we crossed off one last item on our summer to-do list.  "lay in a field and look for stars"

we are easing into our new routines.  we are seeing blessings every day.

we are thankful.
