goings on

this week we attended "baby g's" preschool picnic!

(no, i didn't jack her up with coffee, it's just water but man that looks funny!)

harper is in swim camp this week, so audrey was left with big sister duties.  she told georgia to "be nice to people and not be shy"  so sweet.

she was nervous, but did a great job talking to her new teachers and saying hello to new friends.  we just found out today that on her speech testing she is at 91% intelligibility and that is GREAT for her!  the more confident she is that other's will understand her, the more she will talk.

i know it's because she is my "baby", but it's hard to not keep thinking "this is my LAST preschool picnic, my LAST first day of school shoes, etc"  i am not sad, the thoughts just come in and i feel them and move on.  i do my best to have forward thoughts.

then this kid has to go lose his FIRST tooth:)

he was so excited that the tooth fairy left him 8 quarters.  finally, i get to have a kid who believes in the tooth fairy.

we had our LAST weekday pool trip

seriously my kids are weird.  this is them waiting to leave for the pool, dancing and looking at themselves in the mirror.  weird.

they were doing a seance to make the summer last longer.....no really they were just playing a slap clap game and georgia lost her mind every time she was kicked out for losing.  she is four for sure.

audrey is rather concerned lately about harper almost being as tall as her.  when it actually happens i am not sure she will take it very well.  she doesn't like to lose.

lunch with their buddies.  in three hours georgia only cried 5 times....improvement.  it's like she just wants everything perfect ALL the time and when it's not, she doesn't know what to do except scream and cry hysterically.  we are taking the good with the bad in this area, sometimes there are days when her cry count is in the single digits and we are grateful.  i am guessing that starting school will give her the structure and predictability she craves.  or at least that is what i am praying for.

tomorrow is our last official day of summer
and we are going to rock it.

cousin camp olympiad 2012.....
