memory lane

sunday afternoon, feeling nostalgic we headed out to the city

with plans to show audrey where we lived when she was little

plans to remember, turned into new memories

fun at lincoln park zoo, dinner at pizza metro and a DQ pit stop before heading home.

i love to catch the kids in a picture when they are looking at something, georgia was enthralled with the beaver, she just stared at him for the longest time. 

the kids loved pizza metro, we told them how we would take audrey and payton there and eat outside.  our first baby payton turned 9 this week, we miss our boy but know that he is happy in his adoptive home.

georgia loved eating outside, she wanted to say thank you and kissed me.  harper was playing with our camera and took this shot, her kisses are like melted butter.

the last two weeks, harper has started saying his "r"'s correctly.

it is kind of sad to not hear the little boy from boston anymore, he sounds so big now.

but, that is one less kid in speech therapy:)

now that is one wicked spout of drool.  sorry g, this picture was just too sweet.
