ketchup.

Hello First Day,
This is your author Sarah.  I have nothing to offer but an apology and a blame job placed on the Instagram app.  It is 2014 and one of my to do's is YOU.  This blog was started to be an online scrapbook of the three-Audrey, Harper and Georgia.  After a brief update on each, I will call myself forgiven and we will be partners again.  This place is for my children, for my memories to live on in the fabulous world of the Internet.  Ahem, let me begin.

Audrey:

She is 9, well 9.5.  All she talks about is turning 10 and how she will be a double digit, I don't listen.  She moved "up" in gymnastics this year but due to USAG reconfiguration, she is still a Level 4 gymnast.  She trains 4 days a week and loves every minute, every second.  She has an amazing amount of energy that quite frankly would place her in some people's minds as "over active".  In my mind she is healthy, driven, focused, energetic, kind and very smart.  I think of all of that time of infertility, seeing my prayers "unanswered" but of course God knew what He was doing.  He was waiting until this wonderful girl was ready to be a part of our lives.  The girl is FUNNY, I love that she thinks it is important that people laugh.  She is an excellent older sister, I don't think her and Harper ever fight, she knows just how to deal with him and does it with kindness.  She loves Georgia fiercely, in a motherly way.  She wants her to "be better" and sometimes that causes issues.  She loves her friends, Rainbow Loom, Mr. Gehm, church, music, stuffed animals and of course, gymnastics.  In the picture above she is stoic.  She has learned to be graceful and proud during her routines.  What a big change and what a joy to watch.

Harper:

The main man, buzzy, harpeedoo, boy, harp, he fits them all.  He is 7.5 and rocking the second grade.  He actually reads for enjoyment (never thought i would see the day).  He is now an official American Black Belt in Taekwondo!  He is currently working on his Korean Black Belt, hoping to get it before he turns 10.  He is a lounge lizard, given the choice, he would curl under a blanket by the fire with his ipad and ESPN.  Sounds like someone else I know:)  Jon and I always say he is such a "good" boy, because he is.  He demands fairness, even when he does not benefit, he is kind and does not tolerate others being anything but.  He gets disappointed when others do not live up to his standard of honesty-it is so refreshing.  He loves TKD, games on the ipad, Guinness Book of World's Record books, legos, football, the Bulls, swimming and his friends.  He starts basketball this week, can't wait to see his mad skills on display.  He is the best snuggler, Chicken De Chinese Chicken doer, brother and son.

Georgia:

My baby, the omega.  She will always be the best surprise of my life.  She is 5.5 and loves her some kindergarten.  We went to her conference this year feeling like we might hear bad news, but she is an excellent student!  She started with a new speech therapist, Miss Kristin, who specializes in oral motor issues.  Poor baby girl had to get a frenectomy to release her tongue and improve her speech.  She was fearless and funny during the whole process and she is already sounding clearer!  Georgia is such an awesome spirit.  She is sweet, funny and says the darnedest things.  The other day Jon and I were hugging and she said "If you keep doing that you are going to have to go to the hospital and have another baby".  She slays me.  She knows her place as baby of the family, she will woo you with her smile and long eyelashes.  She knows how to work her way to getting her own way about 90% of the time.  She loves singing, her dolls and little pets, her Daddy, writing, coloring and having snacks.  A great part of her time is spent figuring out how to get Jon or I to give her some sort of carb.  She also starts basketball this weekend, we are hoping she really likes it.  I am the coach so we shall see:)

So there you have it.  The update.  Can't wait to press send on this post and be back in the blogosphere!
